My name is Lars Larrowby. I am an illustrator, author, art instructor, dog enthusiast, and frequent customer at the many local coffee shops throughout the Pacific Northwest.

My love of art began from my earliest years looking at picture books and newspaper comics which my father set aside for me every morning on the kitchen table.

I wanted nothing more as a child than to know how to draw the world around me, which led me to pursue years of artistic training in Southern California, New England, and across the sea to Florence, Italy until making Seattle my home.

I enjoy working with traditional and digital drawing and painting media and creating original characters, illustrations, webcomics, and picture books finding inspiration from my travels abroad and all over the rainy streets of the “Emerald City”.
